These lean plans let you pay only for the categories you actually watch.

Hulu + Live TV costs $90 per month for the ad-supported tier and $100 per month for the no-ads version. However, that price includes the full Hulu on-demand library, Disney Plus, and ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited depending on the tier. If you were going to subscribe to those services anyway, the effective price of the live TV component drops substantially.

Winner: Depends. YouTube TV is cheaper on paper. Hulu + Live TV delivers more total content for the price if you use the bundled services.

Channel Lineup

User Interface and Experience

YouTube TV has the cleaner, faster interface. The live guide loads instantly, search is responsive, and the home screen surfaces relevant content without clutter. The multiview feature lets you watch up to four live streams simultaneously on compatible devices, which is a killer feature during football Sundays and March Madness.

Hulu + Live TV has improved its interface significantly but still suffers from trying to serve two audiences: on-demand binge-watchers and live TV cord-cutters. Navigating between live channels and the Hulu content library can feel disjointed, and the guide occasionally lags on older devices.
